Rate
$40 per day
The rate works just like a hotel with a check-out time 10:00 am (Mon-Fri), 11:00 am (Saturday), or 10:30 am (Sunday). You are charged for the day you drop your dog off regardless of the time. You are not charged for the day you pick up if you are here before 10:00 am. Dogs picked up anytime after 10:00 am will be charged for that day. For example, if you drop your dog off at 4:30 pm on Friday and pick up on Sunday at 4:30 pm, you would be charged for 3 days- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It would also be a 3 day charge if you picked your dog up on Monday morning before 10:00 am. The reason you pay for an extra day if your dog is here past 10:00 am is that we cannot put another dog in that run until your dog has left, and the run has been disinfected with sufficient time to dry.

Cancellations
We are a small kennel that can often reach full capacity, which means we turn away families that would like to board their dogs here to hold reservations for others.When customers pick up their dogs early, cancel reservations, or change reservations without giving us enough notice, we are often unable to fill the space we reserved for them. While we do keep a waiting list, most people will have made other arrangements for their dog by that time, so we end up having an open run(s). This is lost income for us and an inconvenience to the families that are turned away. We require one full week's notice (7 days) for cancellations or changes to scheduled reservations over Holidays, including Spring Break. We require 48 hour notice for canceled or changed reservations for any other times.
**Cancellation Fee** The fee for cancellations or reservation changes with less than 48 hour notice will be 50% of the bill for the originally booked time. The cancellation fee over Holidays (including Spring Break) for cancellations or reservation changes with less than 7 days' notice is 50% of the bill for the originally booked time. Credit cards on file will automatically be charged the cancellation fee. People that do not call, and do not show up, will be charged automatically for the full amount of previously scheduled boarding.

Daycare
We also offer daycare Mon-Thurs as space allows, reservation required. Please keep in mind that we do not have an indoor play area, so playtime may be limited during inclement weather. Daycare is typically unavailable around the holidays since the kennel will be full of dogs here for boarding, so please call for availability. Daycare is $20/day.

Boarding
General Boarding Information
- Licensed by Kent County Animal Services.
- Individual indoor/outdoor (covered) runs.
- Camera monitoring system tracking movement, temperature, humidity, and air quality inside the building.
- Large, fully fenced in playard.
- Facility is fully insulated and kept cozy inside with infrared tube heating during the winter weather, and well ventilated indoors in warmer months.
- Dogs get plenty of outdoor playtime, individually or in small groups.
- Dogs are given one-on-one attention and play time multiple times each day.
- Fresh water available at all times, we feed twice a day.
- Up to one medication/treatment per dog (up to twice a day) at no charge
- Large runs can accommodate multiple dogs if you'd like your pups to share a kennel
- All breeds welcome!
- Reservations are required, otherwise we cannot guarantee we will have a kennel open.
- Proof of vaccination from the veterinarian showing current rabies, distemper, and bordatella vaccinations. This should say proof of vaccination and/or rabies vaccine certificate, this is NOT a receipt or a list of the next dates that vaccines are due. This is very important; we cannot take your dog without proof of vaccination. We do not have a fax machine, so please bring a hard copy in with you, email at (LodgeForDogs@gmail.com), or upload the vaccination proof to the Gingr portal.

- Food for your dog. Keeping your dog on the same food they eat at home helps prevent digestive upset.
What Not to Bring
- Toys or any other items that may be of great value as they can get destroyed
- Bedding: we provide a raised, cot-style bed that is ideal for all dogs, including arthritic and senior pets.
- Bowls: we provide stainless steel bowls that are cleaned and sterilized after every meal.
