Josh and Falon Markow, with their young sons and dogs, moved to the Belmont/Rockford area in July of 2016. The couple has 30+ years of dog training and competition experience between them. It had long been a dream to open a small, unique, specialized dog boarding facility with a quaint, rustic feel. That dream has now come true. Rustic Retreat Lodge for Dogs became a licensed dog boarding kennel and opened for business in November 2016.
